For photographers

Spend Saturday behind the camera

Photography is maybe a fifth shooting. The rest is finding clients, quoting, chasing replies and hosting files. You did not pick up a camera to do any of that.

We take the other four fifths. You post the dates you want to shoot at a price you set. A family picks a slot. You show up, shoot and upload once. We handle the rest: no quoting, no haggling, no website to build, no file transfers to pay for. The work stays yours. The admin stops being your problem.

This is not a job. You stay freelance and set your own prices, and while we are in pilot we take no commission at all.

A 20-minute mini at €89. Eight slots on one Saturday afternoon, if every one fills: €712. Our cut today: nothing.

Free to join · No subscription · No commission during the pilot

Nobody wakes up wanting to hire a photographer

Most photographers sell packages: a price, a duration, a photo count, a contact form. It works once someone already knows your name. The rest of the time you are waiting for a stranger to decide they want photos, find you and write the first message.

So we sell something else: not a package waiting to be asked about, but a dated, priced session families can book like any other Friday plan.

What they are actually buying If you sell a package A photo session. Sometime. If you sell a session Friday 16:00, Englischer Garten, 20 minutes, 89 EUR
When it would happen If you sell a package Whenever the two of you agree If you sell a session Friday
What they have to do first If you sell a package Find you, write, explain what they want, wait for a reply If you sell a session Pick a slot
Whether it will be any good If you sell a package They hope so If you sell a session They look at the photos from the last one
When they are not sure yet If you sell a package Asking already feels like committing If you sell a session Four slots left, two are gone

That is a collection

A collection is a themed run of sessions you publish together. One page carries your photos, the details families ask about and every date you are offering. Keep each one specific: one collection, one idea, one audience.

Three ideas, three audiences, three collections

Families with small kids. Short, early, close to a cafe. Parents book the slot that survives a nap.

Examples, not live sessions.

Families with small kids, visitors with one free morning and a couple planning a proposal are not looking for the same thing, and one generic session speaks to none of them. Being specific is what puts you in front of the people you actually wanted to photograph.

Each date is split into slots. A family opens the collection, picks the slot that fits their Saturday and books it. You wake up to a booked afternoon instead of an inbox of questions.

Collections are the whole idea. The marketing kit, the city pages and the client galleries all exist to fill them.

It is also how an idea becomes a shoot. There is a whole world in your head that nobody can book: the blossom morning, the fog on the lake, the spot that is perfect for 20 minutes in October. Nobody enquires about an idea, so it stays there. Post it as a collection and it becomes something a family can book.

So post as many as you have ideas. Your first is a starting point, not the finished thing, and a collection nobody books yet costs you nothing: it sits there waiting for the family who has been looking for exactly that.

And the same families come back. A short session is easy to say yes to, so people book the next one: the autumn minis, then the newborn, then the Christmas card. Stay with it and you are not the photographer they hired once. You are the one who has the whole run of a family growing up.

It also makes promoting yourself worth the effort. Point a story, a flyer or a paid ad at a collection and whoever clicks can pick a slot there and then, instead of writing to you and waiting for a reply.

Every booking still has to be earned. But for the first time the link at the end of your marketing finishes the job instead of starting a conversation.

Your packages still sit on your profile for the people who already know your name. Collections are what reaches the ones who do not. How the two work together

The parts nobody gets into photography for

Built, hosted and handed to you, so the only thing left on your list is the shoot itself. All of it free.

A print-ready marketing kit

Flyers, table signs, stickers and social slides, generated for each collection with a QR code that tracks which one actually brought the booking.

Stats that show what worked

Page views, QR scans per printed asset and booking conversion per collection, so you stop guessing which flyer pulled its weight.

Your own profile page

A shareable page at your own link with your portfolio, packages and upcoming sessions. Built to sit in an Instagram bio.

A gallery for every client

Clients get a private gallery link that keeps working for a year: no account, no password, nothing for you to host.

Photo delivery, handled

Upload once. Your client is emailed a link, views the album and downloads full-resolution photos. No transfer service to pay for.

Found on city and location pages

Published sessions appear automatically on the city, location and category pages families browse, and in our sitemaps.

What the ones who love it actually do

The photographers who get the most out of this are not the ones with the biggest following. They are the ones who keep putting dates up. Here is what that looks like in practice:

  • Decide the price once, in advance

You publish the price and the slot length up front, so nobody has to negotiate. It does mean picking a number and living with it for that run of dates.

  • Write the session up properly

A title, a description, a cover image, a category and what to expect. Families book what they can picture, and this is the one place where the time you put in shows up directly in bookings.

  • Put up the dates you want to be shooting

Sessions come off the calendar once their date passes, so the next ones only exist if you add them. This is the habit the whole thing runs on: the blossom morning, the foggy park, the spot you keep meaning to shoot in the right light.

  • Be the one who turns up

Answer booking requests, arrive on time, deliver the photos you promised. Unglamorous, and it is most of what separates a photographer families rebook from one they do not.

None of it is hard. It is just the half of the job that is not shooting, and it is the half we have tried to make small enough to do on a Sunday evening with a coffee.

How it works

  1. 1

Apply and tell us where you shoot

A short application, and a real person reads it. We are a small pilot rather than an open directory, so we get to know everyone who joins.

  2. 2

    Build your first collection

A guided setup walks you through the location, the look, the photos and your first date. Roughly 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Publish and share

Your sessions go live on the city pages, and your marketing kit is generated and ready to print or post.

  4. 4

    Shoot, deliver, repeat

Families book slots. You photograph them, upload once, and they get their gallery. Then you post the next dates. The families from the last run are the easiest bookings you will get, because they already know what your photos look like.

Fair questions

What does it cost?

Nothing at all right now. Nothing to join, nothing to list, nothing for the marketing kit, galleries or delivery — and no commission, because we are in pilot and you take payment from your client directly. When we switch our own payments on, our fee will be 10% of a session, and we will tell you well before anything changes.

How does the money reach me?

We are in a pilot and still finishing our payment setup, so for now you agree payment with the client directly and we show your instructions on their booking. We will tell you well before anything changes.

Is this exclusive?

No. Keep your own clients, your own site and any other platform you use. Nothing here asks you to stop doing what already works.

What if nobody books?

It happens, especially on a first date in a new spot. We are a young pilot and nobody here can promise you a full calendar — we bring the families we can reach and hand you the tools, and the rest is the work. You have lost the time you spent setting it up and nothing else: there is no fee for an empty session. Photographers who share their own link tend to fill slots much faster than those who wait for us.

Who owns the photos?

You do. We host the client gallery so you do not have to, and we do not sell or license your work.

How long does approval take?

We review applications by hand, usually within a few days. You can start building your collection straight after applying — it simply stays unpublished until we approve you.

Pick a date you would enjoy shooting

We are onboarding our first photographers city by city, by hand. It costs you an application and an afternoon of setup.

We review every photographer by hand. You can start building your first collection straight away — it stays unpublished until we approve you.
