Connect Claude or ChatGPT to LensWizards
Ask your assistant about your week, your requests and your deliveries, and let it prepare changes for you to confirm.
Sign in with your photographer account and this page shows your connection as it happens.
Sign inWhat your AI assistant can do in LensWizards
Six things, in plain words. Ask for them in your own sentences.
- See your week: bookings, open shoots, and photos you still owe.
- Read your requests and reply with an offer or a decline.
- Edit the text and images of a collection.
- Publish a collection, take it back to draft, or archive it.
- Create and change packages, and switch them on or off.
- Add a venue from a pin and keep private notes on it.
What it cannot do
- Upload photos.
- Delete collections, or change your account.
- Move money or change your payout details.

This one address is all Claude or ChatGPT needs. Copy it, then follow your assistant's steps below.

How to connect Claude to LensWizards
You add LensWizards once, as a custom connector. Claude's documentation lists custom connectors on the Free (one connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans.
- In Claude on the web or the desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Enter a name, such as LensWizards, and paste the connector URL.
- If Claude asks how it should identify itself, choose Register automatically. If it asks when to sign in, choose Sign in now.
- Choose Add, then Connect. Claude opens LensWizards.
- Sign in to your photographer account if asked, check the consent screen (below) and allow.
- In a chat, press the plus button, open Connectors and make sure LensWizards is switched on.
On a Team or Enterprise plan an Owner adds the connector under Organization settings, then Connectors, then Add and Custom. After that you open Customize, then Connectors, and choose Connect.
Add it on the web or the desktop app first. Claude's help says connectors added this way work in its mobile apps too.
Claude's own instructions for custom connectorsHow to connect ChatGPT to LensWizards
OpenAI's page does not say which ChatGPT plans can add a custom server, and account and workspace rules apply. If you do not see the option, ask your workspace admin.
- In ChatGPT, open Plugins and press the plus button.
- Choose Add custom MCP server.
- Enter a name and a short description, such as LensWizards.
- Under Connection, paste the connector URL.
- Set up authentication. LensWizards signs you in with OAuth, then continue to LensWizards.
- Check the consent screen (below) and allow. Then accept the risk notice and choose Create as a plugin.
- Review the tools it found. You should see the LensWizards tools listed.

LensWizards consent screen for AI assistants
Before anything is connected, LensWizards shows you who is asking and what they want.
- The name of the app that is asking to connect.
- The website you will be sent back to. Claude and ChatGPT send you to claude.ai, claude.com or chatgpt.com.
- The permissions it asks for, in plain words.
If the name or the website is not what you expect, choose Cancel.
Read
See your week, collections, packages, requests, delivery status and venues, including your customers' names and messages. Nothing is changed.
Write
Edit, publish and archive your collections and packages, add venues and private notes, and reply to requests.
- Every change is shown as a preview first. Nothing happens until you confirm it in the chat.
- Sending an offer, or declining a request, emails your customer. The assistant says so before you confirm.
- It cannot delete collections, upload photos or change your account.
Try this: three first questions for your assistant
Copy one, paste it into a new chat, and compare the answer with what is described.
-
What's my week?
A good answer: It lists the bookings and open shoots coming up, the requests waiting, and photos you still owe. A quiet week is a correct answer: it should say so rather than invent anything.
-
Which of my requests are waiting for a reply?
A good answer: It names real requests from your account, with dates and whether an offer is already out, or says there are none.
-
Why can't I publish my draft?
A good answer: It names the exact items missing, the same ones your dashboard shows, or says it found no draft.
If the answer is vague and names nothing from your account, the assistant probably did not use LensWizards. Check that the connector is switched on in the chat, or see Troubleshooting.
Your first safe change with your assistant
Ask for the publish checklist. The assistant shows a preview of exactly what would change, and nothing is changed until you tell it to confirm. A preview you ignore expires after five minutes and changes nothing.
Show me my draft's publish checklist and what publishing it would change. Do not publish yet.
Troubleshooting the LensWizards connector
Claude says it can't reach the server
Check that the address is exactly the connector URL above, with nothing before or after it. Claude cannot edit a connector's sign-in settings, so remove the connector and add it again with the right address.
The sign-in page loops, or says this account can't connect
Only photographer accounts that are not suspended can connect. A customer account, or a suspended one, is refused. Open LensWizards in the same browser, sign in with your photographer account, then choose Connect in your assistant again.
I approved, but nothing shows in Connected apps
The connection shows up in the status box at the top of this page and under Connected apps for the account you approved with. If you have more than one LensWizards account, check which one you were signed in to. If your assistant shows an error after you approved, remove the connector and add it again. Open Connected apps
It says my account can't publish
Publishing follows the same rules as your dashboard: an approved account, the accepted agreement, a payout account, an active package in an active city, and a complete draft. The list near the top of this page shows what your account still lacks. Ask the assistant which items are missing on the draft. Open your dashboard
How to disconnect and start over
Choose Disconnect next to the app under Connected apps, then remove the connector in Claude (Customize, then Connectors) or ChatGPT (Plugins). Add it again from step one.
How to disconnect Claude or ChatGPT from LensWizards
Open Settings, then Connected apps, and choose Disconnect next to the app. It loses access immediately; the next thing it tries fails.
Open Connected appsCustomer details and your AI assistant
What the app can see, including customer names, emails and messages, is shared with the AI provider you use it through. You stay responsible for your customers' details. You can disconnect the app at any time in Settings.
Only connect assistants you trust, and review what it asks to do before you approve it.
